I'm not as well positive if it's what you call dead pixels, but about the LCD screen, you'll find modest black dots. I understand it is not dust or dirt around the lens, because it appears in pictures I've taken just before I had this dilemma. There are about three or 4 black dots about the LCD display screen, and they're not too close to every single other. I purchased my camera in September. Should I send it in to Canon to have it fixed?
