Indeed I am heartened with the “willingness” of a celebrity (Madhavan) to confess in public that he is a vegetarian. In fact, there are 1000s famous personalities are vegetarians, but not a vegetarian activist. Somehow they are prioritised with their profession, and vegetarianism as their personal choice. For example, if I say Julia Roberts is a vegetarian, everyone will get shocked, but it is a fact. How much are the celebrities putting their effort to “expose” the reality of this cruel world? After India, Israil is 2nd in vegetarian population. Both countries have highest number of “experts” and “genious” as you know, but “vegetarianism” only become a “ideology”, not philosophy. Beheading a man or animal ethically same. Stealing an egg from hen or someone’s belongings also ethically same. The different is the emotional value and human in the “delusion of societal norm”, while innocent beings not protected by government law neither religious leaders.
