Rahman is not a genius. He leartn sound engineering. So it is not hard for him to compose western music. But raja didnt go to college at all. He is the real maestro. I agree he gave us some poor quality music in between. Now he should believe in himself and give his best.

Please don’t compare Rahman and Raja. Both are great geniuses we have got. I am an adore fan of Raja. He is my soul. When Rahman got Oscar every media said he has taken Indian music to the international specrum.I disagree with that. Yes he is a talented person and he has taken the western music from India to western world and not the Indian music. I strongly believe Raja is the only music director who can take Indian music to the international spectrum and he had already done it. The album “How To Name It” is an perfect example. None other than Raja can simplify Indian raags and present it to international audience in a lstening and understanding way….
