Pulan Visaranai II - Music Review

Joshua Sridhar from “Kadhal” fame has performed the music for this movie. It is a typical Joshua Sridhar album monopolized by western beats with a little folk interlude .Karthik seems to be the singer Joshua favors for this album. Haricharan is missing in this album.

Karupo Sevapo - Suchitra and Swarnalatha

A fast paced western song with heavy beats . The song has a nice tempo and Suchitra and Swarnalatha both enhance the song. Swarnalatha is back after a long time and does a decent job but Suchitra is the clear winner in this song. This is one of the best songs in the album.

Thaneera Illai Vennera - Karthik and Vasundhra Das

This is also a very good song. It starts of slowly but slowly becomes faster with some jazz interludes. Karthik and Vasundhra Das as usual do a good job.

Solavandhan - Anuradha Sriram , Karthik 

The Kuthu song of the album and it is not a bad one . The song has a nice rhythm to it and will please the front benchers. Joshua Sridhar has enough class to keep the song inside the fast but decent boundary. Anuradha excels in these kind of songs and with Karthik she delivers on expected lines.

Yennai Kandu - Joshua Sridhar , Mathangi, Karthik

A nice peppy song. It is not all that great and passes muster.

Manasegamanavale - Karthik and Shalini

The best song of the album . The song sounds average in the beginning but picks up in the middle. Karthik has sung the song with some help from the sound engineers. Unlike Dasavatharam Shalini gets a chance to sing a song with actual lyrics.

Overall the album is not all that great but it won’t disappoint you either. Joshua could have done better.
