You have so many great posts about animal sufferings.

Of course, it is great for the environment and animals if every one becomes vegetarian. The world would be even better is every one becomes vegan!

The condition of milk producing cows is horrible not only in western countries, but also in India, where cows are considered sacred.

Peta in its website states that, "Some farmers in India illegally
inject cows with oxytocin, a powerful narcotic that
requires a prescription and causes cows to produce
more milk"

I wish diary alternatives would be widely available across India. It is so easy to be a vegetarian and vegan in western countries.
Supermarkets are brimming with diary alternatives and meat alternatives made with soy and seitan.
