Yuvan has again hit the right chords with Vamanan.Vamanan is a forthcoming Tamil action thriller film directed by debutant I. Ahmed, who worked as an erstwhile assistant to Kadhir, and starring Jai and newcomer Priya Anandh in lead roles. Produced by R. Ravindran of Dream Valley Corporation, the film features Rahman, Lakshmi Rai, Urvashi, ‘Thalaivaasal’ Vijay in supporting roles, the camera is handled by Arvind Krishna.
Aedho Saigirai (Javed Ali, Sowmya Rao)
An impressive melody from Yuvan jump starts the album. Javed Ali has a terffic voice but his hold of the language is not all that great. He is definitely learning as Yuvan is hell bent on using him in every single album he is composing. Sowmya is good and supports Javed. The tune is very melodious and is sure to be a big hit.
Enge Povadhu (Vijay Yesudas)
Another melody sung by the talented Vijay Yesudas makes this album better. Yuvan as usual has mixed the high notes very elegantly. Vijay does sound a lot like his illustrious father.
Money Money( DJ Earl, Preethi)
A fast paced song sung by DJ Earl and Preethi. The instrumentation is very modern and Yuvan has done a lot of mixing to get the mood right. I was not overly impressed by the song.
Lucky Star (Blaaze, Suvi, Mohd. Aslam)
Yuvan has employed a very talented cast in this song. Blazee has a lot of energy and it is very evident from this song.Again the core music is not all that bad but to me it is just an average song which passes muster. It also reminds of Saroja a lot.
Oru Devathai (Roop Kumar Rathod)
The best song of the album. Roop Kumar has given the song a lot of soul. A typical high pitched song by Yuvan is sure to be a favorite with the purists. There is a nice Hindustani flavor to the song reminiscent of Rehman.
Yuvan has again proven he has raw talent and is at his best when he does not have to compromise for any actor.

Listened Muthirai? A fantastic album. Each song is worth listening.
Yes Vinith and I have posted my review as well. It is a wonderful album.
Found your blog through Google,
I liked Enge Povadhu … others didn’t quite make the mark.
